Okay Okay.......






Hi everyone, just wanted to let you know I AM STILL here, just semi-retired.




I am training for a marathon and gosh running takes up SO MUCH TIME.




FYI..............I have NOT lost an OUNCE, sad but true.




So depressing, however tomorrow I start the SACRED HEART DIET. Lord please give me strength. I am not a dieter and find it extremely difficult but this diet is one week only and you can lose up to 17 pounds!!! I'm aiming for 10. Don't know how this will affect my strength for training but I am willing to sacrifice anything for 10 pounds!!

That is so awesome that you are training for a marathon... I am doing good to just walk out to the mail box. hehee

ok, looked up the diet which is the cabbage soup diet.
good luck honey........I have an entire blog archive about the week I went on it... hour by hour....
hands down the single most miserable experience in. my. life!
the diet makes you hungry like you've never known hunger before.

my only tip........get some cinnamon mixed with splenda and eat apples wiath that on it. also hot tea was more filling than the "food"

after day 3 I was throwing up the soup.

I will be IMPRESSED if you complete the week.

and get ready to pee non stop.

You're awesome to run a marathon! I'm attempting a triathalon if I can find the time to train. We'll see. Can't wait to see Sophia & Alyssa's B-day pics!

Hi ya. I'm coming back from the dead to reply.
I know I must have missed the grand 3 day. And you're still committed to the run? Great on you girlfriend. You're a trouper. You know you can't run away from your problems *wink*! Wish I could be there cheering you on at the finish line, but that would involve me getting off the couch...ahhh..... nope. Time for another round of chocolate.

Wow!! Good for you!! I have never run a marathon although I did quite a bit of racing in my time. I am very, very impressed! Don't forget to post pictures of the run! BRAVO!!
