Quote of the Day

"Why buy the whole pig, when all you really need is a little sausage?"

This quote applies particularly to the "Rambling Mother".

Hmm, those are indeed words to live by.
(is it like why buy the cow when you can have the milk for free?)

And I cannot comment on your mouse snuffing post for some reason but I wanted to tell you that that mouse is one of god's precious creatures too!

Yes, it seems a tad harsh on the mouse and probably the men. However these rodents have infiltrated my basement and their fecal matter could potentially be harmful to my children, and when it comes to my children, I will do anything to protect them. I am going to tame down the heading though.
Thanks

I say behead the mouse for sure. Are you telling this rambling mom that either I ramble too much or not to be so type A+?
I am too old to give anything away for free, Rony!!

Neither, my rambling friend. You ae in a situation where you can have some sausage but you don't need to invite the rest in, know what I mean?

we have no mice, we have plenty of cats that torture them prior to killing them.
DH felt so badly for one he shot it to put it out of its misery.
Traps snapping are way kinder than poison traps.

Yes, we are going the humane route..such an animal lover am I. How about those sticky pads where you can hear the little mousie screaming? How inhumane is that?!?
Would never allow those or the "snap" things...........
I have a guarantee they will be gone in 2 weeks (max.), am now considering a cat....but after reading Secret's story...maybe not.
